Job Description:

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and versatile Interior Designer to join our growing team. Beyond design, this role also involves project coordination and basic QS (Quantity Surveying) responsibilities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors, managing projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop design proposals based on client requirements and project scope
• Prepare mood boards, material samples, and presentation drawings
• Create technical drawings, space plans, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent software
• Carry out quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, and assist in project budgeting
• Source and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and workmanship
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and safety regulations
• Assist in project scheduling, progress reporting, and overall coordination
• Manage project deliverables within agreed timelines and budgets

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in interior design, QS, or project coordination
• Proficiency in design and office software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and negotiation abilities with clients and contractors
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Singapore’s design regulations, building codes, and industry practices is an advantage
