Job summary

A recruitment agency located in Singapore is seeking candidates to thoroughly review applications, assess applicant fitness, and recommend monitoring measures for market misconduct risks. The ideal candidate should have some knowledge of the insurance industry, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint, and the ability to commit to the contract duration. This role involves collaboration with the Recruitment Team and ad-hoc reviews as directed by management.

• Thoroughly review applications and gather relevant information to assess applicant’s fitness and propriety in relation to capability and competency; honesty, integrity and reputation;and financial soundness criteria.
• Provide sound assessment and recommendations on applicant’s with adverse records of his/her fitness to represent the Company.
• Recommend appropriate close monitoring measure(s) to mitigate with the market misconduct risk pose by applicant.
• Collaborate with Recruitment Team and Distribution Business Units as needed.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks or reviews as directed by Lead – Market Conduct Investigation and Head Sales Surveillance & Investigation.

Requirements:

• Some knowledge of insurance industry is a plus.
• IT savvy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Sharepoint will be advantageous.
• Able to commit to the contract duration or longer.
