Job summary

A leading multinational electronics firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced instructional designer to create engaging learning activities and develop course content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design for electronics products and be skilled in writing effective instructional materials. Responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts and analyzing trends in learning technologies. This role offers a competitive salary and a full-time work schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in instructional design for electronics products.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts.

Responsibilities
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content including training material (LMS) and trade presentations
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audiences training needs
  • Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.)
  • Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders
