Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Upload / create / alter users and assign roles and privileges.
• Perform export / import, database creation, basic troubleshooting.
• Administer and create all database objects and users on request of the developer of the application team.
• Create basic Oracle database daily/monthly/quarterly reports per RFP and distribute to stakeholders.
• Follow processes for change control, problems, incidents, service calls and manage incidents/tickets at the provided tool.
• Maintain optimum utilization of all equipment related to database operations and monitor performance.
• Monitor Database, OS, Network, database processes and objects regularly and implement necessary measures.
• Experience with RMAN and restore procedures.
• Proven record in performance tuning, query optimization, compute scale‑up procedures.
• Experience in setting up Transparent Data Encryption, hardening benchmarks.
• Hands‑on experience in setting up and managing RAC and Data Guard.
• Prefer experience in Oracle Database patching, version upgrade and migration.

Qualification and Knowledge

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Banking Finance IT or equivalent.

Functional or Technical Competencies
