Responsibilities
- Analyze production schedules, processes, and specifications to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and waste reduction
- Design and implement production processes and control systems that enhance operational performance and quality
- Develop and execute process improvements and technological upgrades to support business growth and innovation
- Collaborate with management and user personnel to establish design and production standards aligned with organizational goals
- Prepare detailed material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and production cost estimates to support budgeting and procurement
- Design facility layouts and determine personnel requirements to optimize workflow and resource allocation
- Lead training programs for staff on new processes, instructions, and manuals to ensure consistent execution and knowledge transfer
- Manage process documentation and reporting to maintain compliance with health, safety, and fire safety standards
- Apply knowledge of precision machining, production scheduling, and production management to deliver measurable improvements
- Interpret engineering drawings and assess part manufacturability to support production planning and quality assurance
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in precision machining industry practices and production management
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and assess manufacturability
- Knowledge of health and fire safety regulations relevant to production environments
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- ITE/Diploma/Degree with 5 years of relevant working experience in the precision machining industry
