ICT Executive / IT Executive
5 Day Work Week
Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, (Inclusive of 1hr lunch break)
Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm (Inclusive of 1hr lunch break)
Salary: $2300 - $3500
A. Areas of Technical Support
- Support the Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) Device Management Application (DMA) Portal for monitoring student and teacher devices in compliance with MOE guidelines and policies.
- Assist in maintaining the School Assets and Inventory Management System, ensuring proper records of all ICT assets and conducting monthly and ad‑hoc wall‑to‑wall inventory checks.
- Support other school ICT systems required for daily operations, including vendor‑provided systems for fault reporting and technical support.
B. Frontline Technical Support & Service Delivery
- Provide frontline technical support to staff and students on their devices at school locations, including troubleshooting issues with the Schools Standard Operating Environment (SSOE) in collaboration with Desktop Engineers.
- Set up and prepare school AV/IT facilities and equipment for lessons, school events and presentations, providing on‑site technical support including photography and videography services.
C. Asset Management, Deployment, & Maintenance
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance on ICT equipment as specified by the school, tracking and ensuring all AV/IT equipment in classrooms and other locations are in working order for daily use.
- Coordinate with vendors for repair, replacement, servicing and delivery of equipment, as well as technical support issues for school and student devices.
- Set up and configure school devices for issuance or deployment to staff and students.
D. Reporting, Compliance, and Project Support
- Report and document missing, defective or damaged ICT equipment and services to HOD ICT/ICT Manager.
- Follow all processes and documentation requirements specified by the school.
- Assist HOD ICT/ICT Manager in MOE‑initiated rollouts and projects.
E. Content Management & End‑User Training
- Support teachers on usage of existing software and conduct sharing sessions for staff and students on the use of ICT equipment.
- Maintain the school's media data in designated sharing folders. In addition to the above scope, the personnel should be:
- Willing to follow school’s processes and perform assigned tasks.
- Willing to learn new skills and systems.
A. Qualifications & Skills
- At least a Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or other relevant fields.
- Proficient with ICT/AV setup and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of asset and inventory management.
B. Software Skills and Requirements
- Microsoft Word (Advanced).
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Microsoft PowerPoint (Advanced).
- Basic image and photo editing skills.
- Basic Video & Audio editing.
C. Experience
Must have at least 1 year of relevant experience (e.g., ICT Executive or Trainer in schools).
Working experience with Secondary Schools will be an advantage.
