Job summary

A growing technology company is seeking a Human Resources Specialist responsible for end-to-end talent acquisition and HR operational activities for the Singapore hub and other Southeast Asian markets. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Human Resources Management, 3-5 years of HR experience, and familiarity with local employment laws. Responsibilities include managing recruitment lifecycle, employee transactions, and onboarding, along with ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience and maintaining accurate HR data.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end talent acquisition and core HR operational activities for our Singapore hub and other Southeast Asian markets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. End-to-End Talent Acquisition (SEA Focus):
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles across Southeast Asia, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
    • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline, utilizing LinkedIn, job portals, networking, and recruitment agencies.
    • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and ensure a smooth and efficient interview process.
    • Provide a best-in‑class candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and constructive feedback.
  2. Employee Lifecycle Management:
    • Oversee and process all employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations.
    • Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, system updates, and final settlement calculations.
    • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS).
    • Prepare HR-related documents such as employment contracts, confirmation letters, and variation letters.
  3. Onboarding & Training Support:
    • Coordinate and facilitate a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires in Singapore and provide support for other regional offices.
    • Ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the company, coordinating with IT, Admin, and hiring managers for a seamless first day.
    • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating the delivery of training programs (e.g., soft skills, compliance, systems training).
    • Track training participation and effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or Talent Acquisition Specialist, with hands‑on experience in end-to-end recruitment.
  3. Experience managing HR processes for multiple countries in Southeast Asia is highly advantageous.
  4. Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in Singapore; knowledge of other SEA countries' labor laws is a strong plus.
Skills
  • Strong interviewing, sourcing, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent command of both verbal and written English. Proficiency in another Southeast Asian language (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia, Thai, Vietnamese) is highly desirable.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
