Job Description & Requirements

HA Academy, incepted in 1995, is a specialist in youth development training. Our experience and knowledge in understanding the needs of developing students allow us to equip them with relevant skill-sets and attitudes to meet the challenges of a rapidly developing world for excellence at school and at work in the future.

We’re looking for a proactive and people-centric HR executive to manage our human resource functions. You’ll play a key role in shaping our workplace culture, supporting our staff and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who’s eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a mission-driven education environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. People & Culture
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Talent acquisition/ management and staff development
  • Organize company events and staff engagement activities
  • Support internal communications and pulse surveys
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives
  • Handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion
2. HR Operations & Systems
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Coordinate interviews, prepare offer letters, and manage job postings
  • Implement and improve HR systems and workflows
  • Support payroll preparation by tracking attendance, leave, and bonuses
  • Recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
3. Compliance & Policy
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and employment law
  • Review and update HR policies and employee handbook
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
  • Proven experience in HR or administrative support roles
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
