Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a qualified Workplace Safety & Health Officer to conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with environmental management, and monitor workplace safety. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Safety, Health and Environment Management, be registered as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer, and have at least 3 years of practical experience. This role involves liaising closely with project managers to maintain high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Registered as Workplace Safety & Health Officer with at least 3 years of practical experience.
• Ability to lead and advise on safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures.
• Monitor adherence to the Environmental Management Plan.
• Keep records of all activities regarding the environment.
• Work closely with teams to maintain a strong safety regime.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure permit to work systems are in place.
• Liaise with Project Managers on workplace safety and health issues.
• Review and maintain site's WSH records.
