Job description

A meticulous and proactive HR Executive to manage payroll, HR systems, and employee benefits. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, efficient management of HR systems, and effective administration of employee benefits programs. This role requires a strong understanding of HR operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

As a HR Payroll Executive, support the manager in implementing Company Payroll and Compensation policies and processes to ensure a progressive and inclusive work culture and comply to the regulatory framework and internal control policies.

Reporting to Payroll Manager, you are required to:

  • Administer and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies, applicable laws and regulations.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
  • Manage and maintain HRIS, claim system and Time Attendance system to ensure dataaccuracy and system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for system upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Train HR staff and other staff members on the effective use of HR systems.
  • Prepare and submit required management reports related to payroll, benefits, and HR compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.
  • Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll, HR systems, and benefitsadministration.
  • implement best practices and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast with EA and statutory guideline, recommend and policy changes to ensure compliance with the authority.
  • Broad knowledge of and experience with a wide array of HR practices including employment law, compensation.
Governance, Framework, policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain compensation related HR policy documents
  • Review and align various HR payroll policy, framework and procedures
  • Ensure regulatory and legislation compliance
HR Information system
  • As a HRIS analyst, ensure smooth running of the system and the sub-system for all users including troubleshooting and following up tickets raised for technical issues
Time Attendance System (TAS)
  • Lead, tracking TAS reports and compliance
Requirements
  • Min. 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Diploma/Degree holder graduated from a recognized institution in related discipline.
  • About 1-2 years of relevant experience in managing Payroll and Compensation spectrum of HR functions.
  • Resourceful and self-driven individual with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Meticulous to details, excellent in collating reports and analytical skills.
  • A strong understanding of the HR legislation and requirements. Specifically, knowledge of lawful employment practices & compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications, familiar and good knowledge in payrollsoftware.
  • Possess business acumen and negotiation skills to lead, drive through changes,influence and engage across different business units.
Work Schedule

Mon to Thurs 9am to 6:30pm
Fri 9am to 6:00pm
5 days work week
