Job summary

A leading multinational firm in Singapore is looking for an HR Specialist to support key HR strategies and recruitment activities. The role involves coordinating end-to-end recruitment, assisting in employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and over 3 years of HR experience, along with strong communication and organisational skills. A positive and data-driven mindset is essential for success in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant HR experience, ideally in generalist or multi-functional HR roles.
  • Prior exposure to end-to-end HR processes preferred.
  • Professional HR certification such as IHRP, CIPD, or SHRM credentials is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Location Managers in HR strategies and ensure alignment with global policies.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings and interviews.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives and provide counselling support.
  • Prepare periodic HR reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in CSR audits and monitor workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Business Support
  • Support Location Managers and Country HR teams in HR strategies
  • Work with Country HR teams to ensure alignment with global HR policies and local labor laws
  • Support manpower planning reviews and HR reporting
Talent & Recruitment Support
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interviews, and background checks
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives across the region
Employee Engagement & Relations
  • Support employee engagement surveys and focus group activities
  • Assist in change management and organizational development initiatives
  • Serve as a first-point HR contact for employee queries and provide basic counselling support
Compensation, Benefits & L&D
  • Support annual appraisal and performance management processes for the purpose of salary review, promotion exercises, and job levelling activities
  • Assist in compensation benchmarking and market surveys
  • Coordinate learning programs, training activities, and development initiatives
HR Administration & Reporting
  • Prepare periodic HR reports and dashboards (headcount, turnover, workforce metrics)
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
CSR & Compliance Support
  • Assist in CSR audits preparation, coordination, and follow-up actions
  • Help monitor workplace health, safety, and compliance matters
Requirements / Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is required; diploma holders with strong HR experience may be considered
  • 3+ years of relevant HR experience, ideally in generalist or multi-functional HR roles within multinational or fast-paced environments
  • Prior exposure to end-to-end HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, training) preferred
Skills & Competencies
  • Solid knowledge of HR fundamentals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  • Good organisation, time management, and multitasking capabilities
  • HR systems proficiency (HRIS, ATS, MS Office) and data-driven mindset for reporting and analytics
  • High standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct
Nice-to-Have
  • Professional HR certification such as IHRP (Institute for Human Resource Professionals),CIPD, or SHRM credentials
  • Experience supporting regional HR coordination / multi-country stakeholders (Nice to have)
  • Demonstrated capability in employee engagement, learning & development support or CSR compliance (Advantageous)
