Job summary

A well-established medical equipment company in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage its HR operations for around 150 employees. This role involves payroll administration, employee relations, and compliance with local employment laws. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of HR experience and a relevant degree. About the Company

Our client is a well-established medical equipment company dedicated to providing innovative healthcare solutions. They are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations and payroll for a headcount of around 150 employees.

Key Responsibilities

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions, including but not limited to:

1. Payroll Administration

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 150 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements (CPF, IRAS, MOM).
  • Handle monthly salary computation, overtime, allowances, and statutory submissions.
  • Prepare annual year-end tax reports and manage government claims.

2. HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Provide advice on HR policies, employment regulations, and best practices.
  • Manage employee queries and handle employee relations matters with confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.

3. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support talent acquisition activities including job postings, screening, and coordination of interviews.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure smooth assimilation of new hires.

4. Performance & Training Support

  • Assist in performance appraisal processes and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate training schedules and track employee development programs.

5. Compliance & HR Projects

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws and HR policies.
  • Participate in HR improvement projects and drive process enhancements where necessary.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, with strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws.
  • Hands-on payroll experience is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
