Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks an experienced administrative professional to manage Work Pass matters, payroll, and worker-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in administrative roles within the construction industry, be fluent in both Mandarin and English, and possess the ability to communicate effectively with foreign workers. This role involves handling employee onboarding, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and supporting company welfare initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • 10 years’ experience in administrative roles.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all Work Pass related matters.
  • Manage payroll administration.
  • Liaise with government authorities regarding worker matters.

Job description

Must have at least 5 years in construction industry.

Responsibilities
  • To handle all Work Pass related matters i.e. application / renewal / cancellation / replacement of Work Pass etc
  • Works' Payroll Administration
  • To handle workers’ matters i.e. training arrangement, prepare contracts, home leave arrangement, dormitory administration, worker insurance, petty cash submission etc
  • To liaise with government authority i.e. MOM pertaining to worker matters
  • Other ad-hoc admin duties
  • Posting job openings and managing job advertisements, reviewing and shortlisting resumes, conducting interviews and selecting suitable candidates, onboarding new employees.
  • Planning for company welfare
Requirements
  • Min. ‘O’ level and equivalent
  • 10 years’ working experience in handling full spectrum of administrative roles, and in construction industry.
  • Focus more on staff > workers
  • Possess basic knowledge of Whyze HR System and MS Office Application i.e., MS Word, Excel etc.
  • Comfortable and able to communicate well with foreign workers.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Mandarin and English, enabling effective communication with the workforce.
  • Manage SME with headcount of min 150 to 200.
  • Singaporean only with fluent Chinese to communicate with workers
