Job summary

A construction company in Singapore seeks a HR Administrator to manage recruitment and off-boarding activities, from manpower requisitions to offer letter sign-off. Responsibilities also include sourcing candidates, administering new hire and internship programs, and submitting statutory HR reports. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in HR management and at least 2 years of experience in construction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential.

  • Administers recruitment to off-boarding activities including offer letter sign-off.
  • Sourcing candidates and conducting joint interviews.
  • Administers new hire processes including orientation and logistics coordination.
  • Handles Work Pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and tax clearance.
  • Administers internship programmes and professional conversion programmes.
  • Leads career fairs and seminars for networking and scouting hires.
  • Submits HR statutory reports to government bodies.
  • Maintains HR drives/folders for internal use.
  • Acts as HR advisor for line managers.
  • Backs up Senior HR Executive on payroll and training administration.
  • Responsible for employee engagement activities/events.

Job description

Administers the entire suite of start of Recruitment to Off-boarding activities:

  • Administer the process from Manpower Requisition Forms, Job Descriptions and Professional Conversion Programme application to the offer and sign off on Letter of Appointment;
  • Sourcing of candidates via channels of job sites and conducting joint interviews with interviewers;
  • Administer the new hire process, including orientation program and all admin / logistics coordination;
  • Administer confirmation cases; Work Passes including application, renewal, cancellation and tax clearance;
  • submit name list for BCA approve working at the site
  • Administers Internship Programmes with respective educational institutions and department stakeholders;
  • Administers Professional Conversion Programme ( PCP ) and Career Support Programme ( CSP ) from start to end, from applications to programmes, to submission of supporting documents to government bodies for successful disbursement of grants.
  • Administers Career Fairs and Seminars, and this includes registration and attending career fairs to network and scout for potential hires.
  • Submission of all HR and manpower-related statutory reports required by Government bodies, such as MOM, Infocomm and the like;
  • Maintenance of HR drives / folders for internal HR Department and Company-wide usage;
  • Serves as a HR advisor to all Line Managers on interpretation of, and clarification on all HR matters such as Employee Handbook, employment standards and legislations.
  • Serves as backup to Senior HR Executive on payroll and training administrations, in her absence.
  • Responsible for company employee engagement activities / events.
Requirements
