Job summary

A hospitality management company in Singapore is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas.   • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Ensure all rooms and public areas are well-presented at all times.
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Check and report any maintenance issues or damaged items.
  • Replenish cleaning trolleys and ensure proper use of cleaning equipment.
  • Assist in setting up cleanliness for special events or VIP rooms.
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests.
  • Follow all safety, security, and hygiene procedures established by the hotel.

  • Clean, tidy, and make up guest rooms according to hotel standards, including changing linens, making beds, and replenishing amenities.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other common spaces.

  • Ensure all rooms and public areas are well-presented and meet hotel cleanliness standards at all times.

  • Perform regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping glass surfaces, sanitizing touch points, and replenishing supplies.

  • Check and report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost & found to the supervisor promptly.

  • Replenish cleaning trolleys and ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining cleanliness for special events or VIP rooms as required.

  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests when approached, ensuring guest satisfaction and service excellence.

  • Follow all safety, security, and hygiene procedures established by the hotel.

Requirements:
  • No formal education required; prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.

  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and understanding). "We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients."
