Job description

You will support the Chief Medical Informatics Officer in the development and implementation of clinical information systems and processes to facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care.

You will manage clinical information system projects and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication administration, and documentation. You will also help develop and maintain training materials and provide training for users in clinical IT systems.

In addition to the above, you will help to ensure that the policies and procedures related to our electronic medical records system are updated and aligned with both cluster and national policy and guidelines. You will also provide support for workgroups and committees at an institution or cluster-level, as necessary.

Job Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  2. Experience in clinical information systems, IT project management, and experience in healthcare environment would be an added advantage.
  3. Possess good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  4. Motivated and able to function independently.
  5. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
