We are seeking an experienced Head of Publishing to lead our music publishing operations across Asia and international markets. This role is responsible for catalog growth, rights exploitation, licensing strategy, and sub-publishing partnerships, ensuring maximum commercial and long-term value of our music IP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end music publishing operations, including catalog administration, rights management, and royalty optimization
  • Develop and execute licensing strategies across sync, digital platforms, live performance, and brand partnerships
  • Manage and expand sub-publishing relationships across key territories (Asia, US, Europe)
  • Oversee copyright registration, metadata accuracy, and royalty collection (PROs, CMOs, DSPs)
  • Identify and negotiate sync placements (film, TV, advertising, gaming, digital content)
  • Work closely with Creative/A&R, legal, and external partners to align publishing strategy with talent development
  • Monitor catalog performance, market trends, and emerging monetization opportunities (AI, UGC, Web3, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and copyright standards across markets
Requirements
  • 8–12+ years’ experience in music publishing, rights management, or licensing
  • Strong understanding of global copyright frameworks, PROs, and royalty systems
  • Proven experience managing international sub-publishing networks
  • Track record in sync licensing and catalog monetization
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Asia market experience strongly preferred; international outlook essential
