About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Operations & Maintenance Manager to lead our site-based team and drive operational excellence in industrial automation systems. You will oversee daily operations, ensure maintenance efficiency, and foster continuous improvement in service quality, safety, and team performance.

Location

East of Singapore

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary site team covering operations, maintenance, safety, quality, and financial performance.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for automated systems and equipment.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, adoption of best practices, and team development.
• Build team capabilities via coaching, training, and mentorship.
• Identify business opportunities and collaborate with internal stakeholders to capitalize on them.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers, ensuring contract compliance.
• Handle major incidents and escalations promptly and effectively.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and adherence to workplace safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.

Other Information

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior operations or maintenance leadership role.
• Experience in industrial automation, automated systems, capital goods, or system integration is preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with strong commercial awareness.
• Proven experience managing third-party service providers and service contracts.
• Strategic thinker capable of planning for long-term operational goals (up to 5 years).
• Committed to workplace safety and capable of handling escalations when required.
