Job Description
  1. Responsible for establishing and implementing the overall information technology (IT) strategy, overseeing the day-to-day IT operations, and managing the IT risks of Singapore Branch via management of the SG IT team and working with Head Office IT and Information Security teams.
  2. Responsible for the information security strategy and program of Singapore Branch via management of the SG IT team and working with Head Office IT and Information Security teams, including but not limited to the information security policies and procedures to safeguard the information, the information security controls, and the management of information security breaches.
  3. Responsible for administering all procedures relating to the Branch’s IT infrastructure and Information Security requirements to ensure smooth and stable operations, including the regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
  4. Formulate computer system development strategy to support the business development across teams via collaborations with Head Office IT and Information Security teams and local SG cross function teams. Maintain stability in the operations, plan and implementation of the computer systems and network connections.
  5. Coordinate with the Branch and Head Office teams upon new functions/systems onboarding, including areas relating to the needs, the suggestions/proposals, the installation, the testing and the maintenance.
  6. Responsible for maintaining the security and authorization of the Branch systems, including the approval, control and maintenance of passcode applications at the authorization levels.
  7. Responsible for the monitoring, reporting and resolution of Information Security and IT vulnerability issues via close collaboration with Head Office teams.
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of local and Head Office regulators (e.g. MAS Technology Risk Management Guideline and MAS Outsourcing requirements) via collaboration with Head Office IT and Information Security teams and local SG cross function teams.
  9. Supervise staff to comply with all the bank’s policies, operating procedures and system manuals, and manage the provision of day to day IT support services accordingly. Ensure the SG Branch policies, operating procedures and system manuals are regularly examined and updated.
  10. Responsible in the procurement, the contracting and the arrangement of regular maintenance/inspection with IT suppliers/vendors, including ensuring most favorable deals are secured for SG Branch and the proper expenses management.
  11. Responsible for liaising with internal and external auditors and the audit findings.
  12. Oversee the carrying out of IT and Information Security related tasks and other ad-hoc work assigned by SG Branch’s Chief Executive Officer and Head Office.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder and above. At least 15 years’ experience in IT or Information Security, and with experience in banks and IT team management. Candidates with MCSA, MCSE CRISC, CISSP, or other relevant professional certifications/degrees are highly preferred.
  • Candidates who are familiar with the applicable MAS IT and Information Security regulations and industry best practices are highly preferred.
  • Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems. Experiences in Windows, MS Office, Windows Server, MS SQL server, Linux RedHat, Avaya PBX system, TrendMicro OfficeScan, ForcePoint Websense and Winmatrix are valued.
