Job description
Head of Hub Flow Management APAC

Location: Singapore, SG

Summary: To provide strategic leadership and oversight for structural flow performance across the APAC Hub network. This role is accountable for driving structural optimization, long-term cost efficiency and service quality by managing flow re-routings, feeder optimization and ensuring transshipment execution aligns with global standards and business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Flow Optimisation: Analyze end-to-end structural flow performance across APAC Hubs and propose structural improvements to optimize routings on costs, terminal resources and feeder capacity. Lead ad‑hoc Flow Optimization studies to assist with broader network change initiatives, coordinating between Line Ops, Cargo Flow, Port Operations and Network Performance team in Head Office.
  • Feeder Control Tower: Own Group Feeder and Third‑Party Feeder (3PF) consolidation and optimization strategy for APAC. Anticipate 3PF needs by monitoring booking forecasts, vendor performance and internalisation initiatives. Run quarterly Feeder planning cycle, including communication drive on outcomes and next steps. Develop and submit long‑term business cases to reduce costs and ensure best‑in‑class service quality.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor and develop the Hub Flow Management team, fostering a high‑performance culture focused on continuous improvement. Set clear өткән team and individual goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, organize, prioritize and allocate work assignments to ensure optimal team output and coverage.
Minimum Requirementsendee:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in shipping operations, network planning or hub management.
  • Deep understanding of network dynamics and feeder management KPIs.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and operational tools.
  • Experience in Cargo Flow, understanding how containers flow through a network.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive structural change and optimisation initiatives.
