About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Compliance to lead our client’s compliance function and ensure robust governance across our operations. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the integrity of processes and aligning with regulatory standards while driving innovation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and conduct second-line assurance reviews and ad hoc assignments, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Provide technical and managerial leadership in reviewing asset and investment management processes.
  • Drive data analytics initiatives and implement automated testing for assurance activities.
  • Engage regularly with business partners to stay informed on key changes and new initiatives.
  • Monitor emerging risk trends and industry best practices to enhance compliance recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 8–10 years of internal audit or second-line assurance experience within a multinational asset management, unit trust, mutual fund, or investment company.
  • Strong technical expertise in fund management processes, including investment & dealing, trade compliance, sales & marketing, and financial crime (AML, ABC, fraud), as well as sanctions.
  • Deep understanding of risk management, internal controls, compliance, and auditing standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and innovative mindset.
  • Regional office experience is highly advantageous.
