Role Description

This is a remote contractual role for a Head of Foreign Direct Investment (Business Development) for one of our unique partner brands. The role involves leading efforts to attract and manage foreign direct investments, developing and executing investment strategies, evaluating business opportunities, and building relationships with key stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial markets, managing investment portfolios, identifying growth opportunities, and providing strategic insights to ensure business development success. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping and expanding investment initiatives.

Location: Remote but must reside in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies for attracting high-value qualified investment leads
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of investment prospects from key sectors
  • Generate high-value qualified leads through proactive outreach and cold calling
  • Manage the initial lead generation process for new targets and existing clients
  • Coordinate with the Investment Development team for qualified lead progression
  • Identify and engage with relevant decision-makers in target markets
  • Initiate and conduct introductory meetings with potential investors
  • Organize and manage DMC meetings and in-market trips
  • Develop team budgets, travel calendars, and operational requirements
  • Build strategic relationships with multipliers to enhance investment referrals
  • Identify business development opportunities and initiatives to improve sector ecosystems
  • Conduct activities to raise Bahrain's profile as an investment destination
  • Provide regular reporting and analytics on market activities
  • Develop focused marketing and communications strategies for deal sourcing
  • Conduct comprehensive investor due diligence and qualification
