COO Asia Business Management supports the COO Asia in execution of the COO mandate to support the Bank’s growth strategy by providing reliable, scalable and efficient platform and services to the Front Office functions.

YOUR CHALLENGE

kEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

People Management

  • Manage the COO Asia Business Management team (4 FTEs), set team development goals and objectives, and review performance against targets

Client Management (internal)

  • Deliver strategic/regional projects for COO Asia to support the business growth in the region
  • As Singapore TPRM and Outsourcing Coordinator: maintain outsourcing register, manage risks of TPRM and outsourcing arrangements from BJB Singapore, and ensure compliance to local policy and regulation
  • Lead the COO Culture and Values program within COO area and collaborate with head office for alignment with respective global program

Business Management

  • Prepare management reports for global, regional, and local management committees where COO Asia is involved
  • Manage financial and headcount budget for COO Asia and ensure cost discipline in the division
  • Align and maintain relevance of COO Asia policies to comply with local regulations, and support COO Asia management in operationalizing the policies
  • Manage COO Asia Change-the-Bank budget, ensure cost within target
  • Track open audit items, ensure follow-up and timely closure
  • Lead cross-divisional initiatives to recommend and deliver solutions benefiting the business growth and frontline efficiency as well as in compliance of risk and control

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

  • Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
