A government agency in Singapore seeks a Head of the Air Navigation Services Safety and Security Branch. This leadership role involves overseeing the implementation of security programs, analyzing safety incidents, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the safety of air navigation services. Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in aviation safety and security and exhibit strong leadership and communication skills. This is a 3-year contracted position with potential for renewal.
As Head of the Air Navigation Services (ANS) Safety and Security Branch, you will ensure that the ANS Group’s Safety Management System is effective.
Your responsibilities include the implementation of the ANS Security Programme, development and maintenance of the necessary processes and procedures for preventive and responsive security measures of the ANS Group’s facilities, as well as coordination with internal and external stakeholders on safety and security related matters. You will also oversee the post-mortem, analysis of ANS safety and security related incidents, and management of the Safety Data Collection and Processing System. On the international front, you will play an important role in international platforms such as the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation and the Regional Air Safety Monitoring Advisory Group in ANS safety and security related issues. You will also oversee the planning and implementation of emergency preparedness to ensure the overall operational continuity of the ANS Group.
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
