Qualifications

  • Experience in CBTC systems, preferably GoA4, is highly advantageous.

Job Description
  • Be the subject‑matter expert for all signalling hardware architecture within CBTC GoA4 projects.
  • Lead and review key hardware deliverables, including:
    • Detailed bookwirings & interconnection diagrams
    • Bonding & earthing plans with track and traction integration
    • Cable core plans
    • PDP line diagrams
    • Equipment specifications
  • Perform and validate load flow and power consumption calculations.
  • Drive technical decisions, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure system safety & compliance.
  • Lead a team of Hardware Design Engineers-guiding design work, reviewing outputs, and ensuring quality.
  • Manage resource planning, project allocation, and engineering governance.
  • Champion standardisation, reusable design templates, and process improvements.
  • Oversee hardware design activities across the project lifecycle - design, reviews, audits, validation.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (EN 50126/50128/50129, IEC 61375, IEC 60204, etc.).
  • Work closely with system engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning teams.
  • Represent the company in customer workshops, technical discussions, and design approval stages.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in railway signalling, hardware design, or safety‑critical electrical systems.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Producing & reviewing detailed wiring diagrams
    • Cable routing & bonding design
    • Power systems and electrical loading
    • Hardware design for signalling or similar domains
  • 2-3 years of technical leadership with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in CBTC systems, preferably GoA4, is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with design automation tools and document control systems.
