Job summary

A fitness management company in Singapore seeks experienced Gym Supervisors and Instructors. Job Requirements:

• Verify sign-in and sign-out and to record attendance for all users.
• Submit the attendance report of the gym attendance when requested.
• Actively provide guidance on safe and proper usage and techniques of the equipment in the gym when required.
• Conduct gym orientation for all new users. Frequency of orientation increases during the start of a new academic year (Apr May each year).
• Conduct basic housekeeping and checks on equipment daily such as:
  • Sanitising contact points of equipment
  • Maintaining a checklist of equipment and reporting when equipment requires servicing or repair
  • Provide incident report of equipment damage and how it can be avoided.
• Ensure all equipment are accounted for and properly kept. Lights and electrical appliances are to be switched on and off during opening and closing.
• Implement and enforce RPs gym rules and regulations. Gym instructors should warn users should they break the rules and regulations. Temporary ban will be imposed on repeated offenders.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years working experience in managing a gym or in similar capacity for Gym Supervisor.
• Minimum 1 year working experience as a gym instructor or in similar capacity for Gym Instructors.
• Gym Instructor should possess a valid First Aid with CPR + AED certification awarded by a recognised provider in Singapore.
• Valid fitness instructor/trainer certification awarded by a reputable fitness body. (example, Sports Singapore, Federation of International Sports, Aerobics and Fitness (FISAF), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), or International Sports Academy).
