Job Summary

WOG Technologies seeks a qualified Global General Counsel to lead legal and compliance matters across international operations, strengthening governance frameworks and supporting business growth through strategic legal leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent, strategic legal guidance to HR, R&D, Finance, Operations, and Sales teams to support business objectives and mitigate risks.
  • Manage routine legal and compliance issues to enhance operational efficiency and control costs across global functions.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce intellectual property strategies to protect proprietary technologies and manage licensing agreements effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, data privacy, and corporate governance laws across multiple jurisdictions to uphold regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to reinforce WOG’s reputation as a responsible, governance-driven technology company through proactive legal stewardship.
Required competencies and certifications
  • Master of Laws (LLM) from a recognized university.
  • Valid bar admission for international legal practice.
  • Membership in recognized global legal associations (e.g., International Bar Association).
  • 5–7 years of experience in international corporate and technology law, demonstrating expertise in contracts, compliance, intellectual property protection, and dispute resolution.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Specializations in International Corporate & Commercial Law, International Employment & Labour Law, International Intellectual Property Law, Technology & Cybersecurity Law (global focus), International Business & Trade Law, and ESG & International Governance Law.
