Job summary

A civil engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in LTA or similar tunnel projects. Responsibilities include planning and designing civil works, coordinating with authorities and clients, and ensuring compliance with project quality plans. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and is a team player, with experience in risk assessment and subcontractor coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in civil or geotechnical engineering.
• Experience with LTA or similar tunnel projects is preferred.
• Certification as RE is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Planning and designing of civil and ground improvement works.
• Review and verify compliance of engineering works.
• Coordinate with authorities, clients, and consultants.
• Evaluate subcontractor risk assessments and procedures.
• Attend daily site coordination meetings.

Job description

• Planning and designing of civil and ground Improvement works
• Review and verify all Civil and Structural related engineering works are comply to requirement
• Co-ordinate with authorities, client and consultants
• Evaluate subcontractor’s risk assessment, safe work procedures and method statements
• Ensure that document control and site records are properly updated in compliance to project quality plan (PQP)
• Responsible for attendance to daily site coordination meeting and provide detail coordination with subcontractors

Job Requirement

• Recognize Degree in civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience and above
• Prefer with LTA project experience or similar tunnel project experience
• Experience in design Geotechnical & structure work
• Experience in coordinating with QPS/LTA/ Tunnel team/ design consultant/ construction team
• Certified RE is an advantage
