Job description

What the role is:

We are looking for a motivated Geomatics Manager to join HDB. This role is suited for candidates who can bridge technical expertise in land surveying and geomatics with the growing demand of future‑ready survey workflows. You will play a key role in integrating advanced survey technologies into BIM and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) processes, strengthening project delivery across HDB’s housing, infrastructure, and estate developments.

What you will be working on:

• Support Scan-to-Model initiatives processes and establish streamlined survey-to-BIM/IDD processes for seamless data integration.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to embed survey data into project planning, design, and delivery.
• Apply 3D LiDAR, GNSS, UAV, SLAM, reality capture and other emerging geomatics technologies in housing and estate projects.
• Ensure survey deliverables meet professional standards, regulatory compliance, and digital interoperability requirements.
• Develop and implement digital survey workflows and standards to enable interoperability across BIM, IDD, and GIS platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement in survey practices by applying geomatics technologies to drive the future of geomatics in the built environment.

What we are looking for:

• Background in Geomatics Engineering, Land Surveying, Geospatial Science, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering or in a related field, with 2‑4 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of survey practice and familiarity with 3D LiDAR, UAV photogrammetry, GNSS, SLAM, and Scan-to-Model workflows will be advantageous.
• Adaptable and well‑organised, with strong coordination and communication skills, eager to embrace new geomatics technologies while contributing independently and in teams.
