Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Director to lead the growth and expansion of our luxury confinement centre based within a hotel environment. This role oversees revenue generation, partnership development, client acquisition, brand strategy, and overall business performance. You will play a key leadership role in shaping the centre’s market presence, service offerings, and long‑term commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive occupancy, revenue, and brand visibility.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, including partnerships with OB‑GYNs, maternity clinics, prenatal/postnatal service providers, and corporate partners.
- Lead B2C and B2B sales efforts, including designing packages, promotions, and client engagement initiatives.
- Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights to refine business strategies.
Partnerships & Client Acquisition
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, industry stakeholders, and community partners.
- Develop referral networks and strategic alliances to increase client acquisition channels.
- Represent the brand at events, conferences, and industry engagements.
Brand Management & Marketing Oversight
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop brand campaigns, digital strategies, and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and communication to ensure alignment with the company’s luxury service standards.
- Review marketing performance metrics and optimise campaigns for ROI.
Operational & Commercial Leadership
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure guest experience aligns with premium service expectations.
- Oversee pricing strategies, revenue planning, forecasting, and budget performance.
- Lead business reviews and provide insights to management on growth opportunities and business performance.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor sales, marketing, and partnership teams to achieve performance targets.
- Work closely with senior management and hotel partners to ensure strong alignment across business objectives.
- Participate in long‑term planning, expansion projects, and new service development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or commercial roles.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing successful partnerships.
- Strong understanding of customer experience, branding, and high‑touch service environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead cross‑functional teams.
- Knowledge of maternity or postnatal care sectors is an advantage (but not mandatory).
