Job Summary
You will support clinic operations by triaging patients, managing appointments, assisting doctors with procedures, dispensing medication, and handling billing transactions to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients and register their health declarations to ensure accurate patient records and prioritisation
- Dispense medication and collect payments accurately to support patient treatment
- Explain medical and health screening packages clearly to patients to help them make informed decisions
- Arrange and book appointments for follow-up treatments and vaccinations to maintain patient care continuity
- Assist doctors by chaperoning patients and supporting minor and swab procedures to facilitate clinical operations
- Perform assigned administrative duties to maintain clinic workflow and documentation
- Process billing transactions, including Healthier SG (HSG), CHAS, and Medisave payments, to ensure correct patient billing
- Submit daily electronic insurance Managed Care claims to support timely reimbursement
- Manage medication inventory by topping up stock and assisting in stocktaking to maintain adequate supplies
- Maintain the cleanliness and housekeeping of clinic facilities to provide a safe and welcoming environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Basic IT proficiency to operate Clinic Assist and Managed Care portals for patient and billing management
- Ability to commit to full-time work up to 44 hours per week, including 3 night shifts and 1 weekend shift
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum GCE O-level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in any discipline
- Experience in sales or customer service to enhance patient interaction
- Residence in the northeast area for convenient commuting
- Good command of spoken English to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Ability to speak additional languages or dialects to support communication with diverse patient groups
- Positive learning attitude and passion for customer service to contribute to a supportive clinic environment
