Job summary

A global brokerage firm in Singapore is seeking a driven Fuel Oil Broker to execute trades and manage client relationships in the fuel oil market. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience and fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese. Redstone Commodity Search are working with a fast-growing, globally connected brokerage and is looking to hire a driven and well-connected Fuel Oil Broker to join its expanding team in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Execute derivatives trades across fuel oil markets, maintaining daily communication with counterparties.
  • Grow and service a portfolio of clients.
  • Identify trading opportunities through market intelligence, pricing trends, and relationship-building.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution, trade documentation, and client coverage.
  • Contribute to the commercial strategy of the desk by bringing market insight and revenue-generating ideas.
Key Qualifications / Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience broking or trading fuel oil or related refined products.
  • Existing, transferable client relationships and a strong pipeline of active business.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is strongly preferred to support client engagement across Asia.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
