A leading tech company in Singapore is seeking a Frontend Team Lead to manage and grow the frontend team while ensuring timely delivery of frontend-driven business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in frontend engineering, team leadership, and exposure to consumer-facing or payment-related products. This role involves defining key plans, mentoring team members, and driving significant projects to success in a dynamic environment.
Lead and grow the frontend team while fostering strong collaboration across internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery for frontend-driven business initiatives.
Define and execute mid- to long-term plans for the frontend function, continuously advancing frontend technologies and practices to support and accelerate business growth.
Strengthen the team’s overall capabilities by mentoring engineers, cultivating technical excellence, and building a cohesive, motivated team culture.
Demonstrate strong judgment and prioritisation skills, effectively identifying business-critical initiatives, resolving challenges decisively, and driving key projects to meaningful outcomes.
Minimum 2 years of people management experience, with a structured and scalable approach to team leadership; experience managing remote or distributed teams is a plus.
Extensive experience in frontend engineering, with strong technical architecture and system design capabilities; background in consumer-facing or payment-related products is preferred.
Hands‑on experience designing or building real-time monitoring and analytics systems to track product conversion, performance, and frontend health.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from a well-regarded, accredited university.
Proven ability to design and implement effective collaboration processes for remote and cross-regional teams, enabling fast and efficient product iteration.
Strong sense of ownership, learning agility, and excellent communication and collaboration skills; professional proficiency in English is required.
Experience contributing to or leading large-scale, complex technical initiatives in a production environment.
Direct experience in a FinTech or financial services environment, with exposure to digital payments, financial platforms, or technology-enabled financial operations.
