About The Project

This is a government digital services platform focused on customer service and integration with multiple backend systems. The role involves strict compliance with national IT governance standards, security protocols, and service-level agreements (SLA) for production support.

Main Responsibilities

UI Development & Maintenance:

  • Build responsive, accessible front-end components using JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Ensure compliance with WOGAA accessibility standards and government UX guidelines.

Integration & Testing:

  • Collaborate with backend teams to validate API contracts and connectivity.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing for SIT/UAT phases; support regression and responsive UI testing.

Production Support:

  • Monitor and resolve front‑end issues within client SLA.
  • Participate in on‑call rotation for critical incidents.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Maintain up-to-date integration specifications, UI mockups, and change request logs.
  • Support security audits (VAPT, SAST, SSAT) and ensure code quality meets SonarQube standards.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with stakeholders, PM, BA, QA, and offshore teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and maintain living documentation for onboarding.
Required Skills
  • 2 + years of total IT experience, at 2 + commercial projects.
  • Technical: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Tools: Figma (UI/UX design), Docker (for dev environments).
  • Testing: Unit testing (XUnit/NUnit), responsive UI validation, API contract verification.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with GovTech IM8, SATRM standards, and security best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
  • Knowledge of some UI Framework (Vue the most preferable).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, SonarQube, and government digital projects.
  • Knowledge of .Net/C# will be a big plus.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end integration flows across multi-system environments.
