Job Description for FRC Supervisor

Requirements
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and liaise with the FRC Engineer/Manager and Technicians to maintain efficiency in the Facilities Management Department and FRC.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for any unplanned occurrences or events.
  • Assign jobs, tasks, and Work Orders to Duty Technicians appropriately.
  • Submit daily reports generated from EFIRM by 0800 hrs.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings for staff.
  • Administer and control the issuance of passes and Permits to Work in FRC by contractors, verifying all documentation.
  • Collate data and facts for follow-up reports to the FRC Engineer/Manager.
  • Monitor and track operating parameters of various critical systems in accordance with the checklist schedule (SKH-SOP-FRC-06, Annex D).
  • Ensure all faults are captured in EFIRM; maintain manual records during system downtime.
  • Update the status of outstanding Work Orders in EFIRM on a daily basis.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in FRC and ensure compliance with in-house rules and regulations.
  • Ensure all FRC documentation is updated and organized (by day shift supervisor).
  • Handle service requests, phone calls, complaints, and feedback from all sources when operators are not in operation.
  • Provide administrative support for all BCP activations, including escalation processes and tracking.
  • Perform any other tasks as required by the FRC Engineer/Manager, including familiarization of newcomers.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, preferably with some technical knowledge or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Able to commit to shift work
  • Proficient in computer applications / computer savvy
