Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a FRACAS Engineer to join their Quality Assurance department. The role involves investigating product failures, analyzing root causes, and proposing corrective actions to improve product quality. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in quality assurance. Strong communication skills and analytical abilities are essential. This position offers valuable experience in a collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

  • Preferably possesses at least 2 years of industrial experience in the quality assurance field.
  • Capable of preparing detailed reports and charts.
  • Holding a Class 3 driving license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyse product failures on site.
  • Work with other engineers to determine the root cause of failure.
  • Engage customers to resolve FRACAS cases and other quality issues.
  • Lead and present in Failure Review Board meetings.
  • Propose corrective and/or preventive actions.
  • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of actions.
  • Ensure appropriate forms are filled in.
  • Maintain the database of FRACAS information.
  • Monitor closure rates of FRACAS as per KPI.
  • Conduct failure trend analysis.
