Job summary

A leading food industry firm in Singapore is seeking a Food Technologist to support R&D and transformation projects. The role involves developing emulsifiers, formulating recipes, and providing technical support. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Food Science and relevant R&D experience. This position offers opportunities to innovate and collaborate closely with Sales to meet client needs.

Qualifications

  • Min Diploma in Food Science or related field.
  • Experience in R&D in flour milling, bakery, related ingredient industries.

  • Develop and apply emulsifiers for cakes, rolls, and pastries.
  • Formulate new food improvers and bakery recipes; conduct shelf-life testing.
  • Perform baking trials, product evaluations, and comparison tests.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers; troubleshoot on-site.
  • Collaborate with Sales to ensure products meet client requirements.
  • Propose innovative concepts based on market trends and business needs.
  • Present products and conduct live demos/seminars.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
