Job summary

A floral arrangement and delivery company based in Singapore is seeking an experienced florist to assist with flower conditioning, arrangement crafting, and delivery. Candidates must have a professional certification in floristry or a related field, along with a passion for flowers and knowledge of various floral designs. Flexibility with scheduling is a must, as working hours may include evenings and weekends. This role involves both collaborative tasks and independent work in a vibrant setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in floristry.
• Professional certification in floristry, horticulture, or floral design is necessary.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conditioning fresh flowers and maintaining shop cleanliness.
• Craft and arrange floral arrangements including bouquets and centerpieces.
• Prepare and pack flower arrangements for delivery.
• Deliver flower arrangements and ensure their quality.
• Perform daily maintenance of flowers.

Job description

• Assist to condition fresh flowers and maintain flower shop cleanliness
• Assist to craft/arrange floral arrangements and bouquets (including but not limited to hand bouquets, table flowers and centerpieces, hampers)
• Assist to prepare and pack fresh flower arrangements and other materials required for daily maintenance, floral set up which includes preparing floral containers, required props, floral foams and floral carts for storage, refrigeration and delivery
• Assist to deliver flower arrangements, and touch up of the flowers if any before arrangement placement
• Assist to do daily routine maintenance or as and when require to ensure good condition of flowers
• Follow instructions and complete task assigned by superior.
• Flexible with scheduling which may include day, evening, weekends, and public holidays.
• Minimum 1-3 years of floristry experience, and with a Professional certification in floristry, horticulture, floral design, landscape architecture or other related fields
• Experience working in a customer service or florist related industry will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently.
• Love and passion for flower arrangements. Possess great Knowledge about a wide range of floral designs, flowers, foliage along with their seasonal availability and how long they will stay fresh will be added advantage.
• Ability to apply basic Microsoft Words / Excel / PowerPoint skills to generate required reports for Florist operation needs.
