Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to manage financial reporting for the company and associated asset-holding entities. The successful candidate will prepare financial statements according to SFRS/IFRS, handle regulatory submissions, and perform bookkeeping for family members. Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience, a degree in a related discipline, and be fluent in both English and Mandarin. This role offers the flexibility of working from home and may be part-time or full-time.

Who We Are

Koru Capital is the investment advisor of a Single-Family Office under MAS Section 13U, wherein the Principal is also registered under the EDB Global Investor Programme. We are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to manage the financial reporting for the Company as well as a group of asset-holding companies in Singapore and the British Virgin Islands (BVI).

This is a work-from-home role, available on a part-time or full-time basis depending on the individual’s capability. Our entities have simple, straightforward accounts with minimal operational activity.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and compile financial statements in accordance with SFRS/IFRS and applicable BVI requirements.
  • Handle timely and accurate submissions to ACRA, MAS, and other authorities.
  • Perform book-keeping for the Principal and SFO family members.
  • Prepare internal financial reports, summaries, and invoices.
  • Reconcile accounts, analyse financial data, and provide insights when required.
  • Coordinate with BVI trust managers, offshore trustees, and legal advisors on compliance matters.
  • Maintain clean records for dormant or low-activity holding companies.
  • Review and enhance financial reporting processes and systems.
  • Stay updated on regulatory and financial reporting changes.
Who We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, or corporate services.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles with familiarity in FRS/IFRS; offshore jurisdiction knowledge (e.g., BVI) is a plus.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Self-starter who works well independently in a lean WFH environment.
  • Will receive guidance and support from the Principal and senior executives.
  • Professional, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential family information.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin (must-have).
  • Singapore citizen (must-have).
