Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support treasury and trading desk activities through financial reporting, P&L analysis, controls monitoring, and performance reporting.

Daily Deliverables

• Produce daily P&L reports and perform P&L decomposition.
• Analyze and provide commentary on significant P&L movements, linking them to desk strategies and market activities.
• Monitor New Deals, Late Deals, and Market Operations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Review transactions executed at off-market rates and provide justifications and explanations.
• Perform exception monitoring on reported P&L vs trader estimates and identify breaches against threshold limits for unexplained P&L.

Technical Exposure & Learning Opportunities

• Gain hands-on exposure to financial instruments, including bonds, Credit Default Swaps (CDS), and Total Return Swaps (TRS).
• Develop strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, trade reporting flows, and associated control frameworks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of treasury products and derivatives is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
