We're looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed, and cloud-accounting savvy Mid-Level Financial Advisory Associate to join our fast-growing Financial Services team. If you love spreadsheets, structure, and solving problems with precision and you’ve got your Xero, QBO, or Zoho Books certification proudly framed on your wall this one’s for you.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll work closely with our portfolio of high-growth clients to deliver clear, reliable, and actionable financial insight, keeping founders sane and investors impressed.

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple clients across industries using in-house templates, QBO, Xero and other accounting tools.
  • Set up and optimize accounting systems, chart of accounts, automation flows, and reporting frameworks
  • Collaborate with clients’ leadership teams to deliver monthly closing, reconciliation, and reporting packages
  • Support financial modeling, cash flow planning, and budgeting activities for ongoing advisory engagements
  • Work hand-in-hand with our senior advisors to prepare pitch decks, data rooms, and materials for fundraising or M&A
  • Be a financial translator, turn messy bank statements and receipts into insight-rich reports that founders can act on
  • Contribute to internal process improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Support due diligence, investor queries, and compliance prep as needed
What You Bring:

We’re looking for someone proactive, practical, and precise, with enough experience to hit the ground running and the humility to keep learning.

  • 3–5 years experience in accounting, audit, or financial advisory (client-facing experience a big plus)
  • Deep familiarity with cloud-based accounting software—especially QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Zoho Books
  • Certifications in any of the above tools = brownie points
  • CPA-qualified (or equivalent) preferred but not strictly required
  • Strong command of accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation best practices
  • Comfortable working across multiple clients and projects, switching context without dropping quality
  • Great communicator, you can explain complex financial topics to startup founders without putting them to sleep
  • Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, Excel, Slack, Notion, and other startup stack essentials
  • Bonus: Experience supporting fundraising rounds, data rooms, or due diligence
