Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL), ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation and closing.
• Oversee billing, invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and fixed asset register maintenance, including depreciation schedules.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls across finance functions to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives and improve organisational financial efficiency.
• Manage cash flow, bank balances, and working capital to ensure liquidity and optimise payment terms.
• Coordinate bank reconciliations and oversee local and international payment execution.
• Act as liaison between Finance and operational teams to ensure accurate data flow and compliance.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities within finance processes and reporting.
• Manage ERP finance modules, including upgrades and troubleshooting in collaboration with IT or vendors.
• Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain finance policies and processes aligned with business requirements.
• Plan and coordinate annual audits, manage audit queries, and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-7 years of hands‑on experience in accounting operations and control within the manufacturing industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong proficiency in ERP finance modules (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets).
• In‑depth knowledge of local tax and accounting regulations.
• Experience in process automation and ERP system management is an added advantage.
