Job description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operationsand compliance for our Singapore subsidiary. This role is critical in ensuringfinancial integrity, supporting strategic decision-making, and building robustfinancial systems to support rapid growth across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic finance business partner, providing financial analysis,modelling, and decision support aligned with business objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financialplanning, tracking performance against plans.
• Analyse financial and business performance, identifying risks, opportunities,and improvement areas, and present actionable insights to management.
• Manage end-to-end financial operations including General Ledger, AR / AP, cashmanagement, payroll, taxation, and treasury activities.
• Establish, enhance, and maintain internal controls and financial processes to improve efficiency and safeguard company assets.
• Oversee cash flow planning and foreign exchange exposure to optimise capitalutilisation.
• Ensure full compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS),statutory requirements, and internal group policies.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financialstatements and management reports.
• Lead statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory filings, including GST andcorporate income tax.
• Manage and develop the local finance team, reporting to the regional orheadquarters finance function.
• Collaborate closely with headquarters and cross-functional teams (Sales,Marketing, Operations) to support business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore) or equivalent qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.).
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years independently managing full finance operations for a subsidiary or businessunit.
• Strong working knowledge of SFRS, IFRS, Singapore company law, and taxregulations, with hands-on GST experience.
• Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
• Strong English and Mandarin communication skills to liaise withChinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership, people management, and problem-solving capabilities.
