Responsibilities
1. Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Act as the finance business partner to various business units and functional heads.
- Provide timely analysis, dashboards, and recommendations to support commercial decisions, pricing strategies, investments, and cost optimisation.
- Translate financial data into business insights that improve performance and profitability.
- Support management in evaluating new business opportunities, projects, and strategic initiatives.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Lead the annual budget process and rolling forecasts, working closely with business stakeholders.
- Monitor performance against budget/forecast; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to track business performance.
3. Financial & Management Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Ensure consistency and integrity of data across business units and functions.
- Present financial results to senior management with clear commentary on risks, opportunities, and trends.
4. Operational Finance & Controls
- Oversee accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, cash management) to ensure smooth month-end closing.
- Strengthen internal controls, compliance with accounting standards (SFRS/IFRS), and company policies.
- Work closely with external auditors and tax consultants on statutory requirements.
5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor working capital, cash flow and liquidity to support business operations.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and recommend measures for optimisation.
- Liaise with banks on treasury and financing matters.
6. Process Improvements & Systems
- Drive automation, process improvements, and ERP/system enhancements for greater efficiency.
- Implement financial tools and templates that improve forecasting, reporting and analysis.
- Provide guidance to Finance/Accounts Executives.
- Support any other ad-hoc projects or duties that may be assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting / ACCA / CA / CPA qualification
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in managing full spectrum of accounting and finance functions.
- Prior audit experience, especially in Big4 accounting firm is a strong advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IFRS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong business acumens and analytic skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
