Job summary

A community care service organization in Singapore is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager's operations. Responsibilities include preparing general ledgers, managing accounts receivables, and facilitating audit preparations. The ideal candidate should have experience with accounting systems, particularly NetSuite, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Job description
Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Finance Manager in the operation of Finance Department, including:

  • Prepare general ledgers, accounts receivables and accounts payables
  • Invoicing
  • Prepare bank payments and bank reconciliations
  • Process staff reimbursements, claims
  • Record and process accounting transactions accurately in the accounting system.
  • Process staff reimbursements, claims, and disbursements to beneficiaries
  • Assist is any financial related activities assigned by the manager

2. Assist in year-end audit preparations including audit schedules and respectivesupporting documents

3.Keep donation records properly both in donation system and accounting system and to assist with IRAS submission of TDR donations

4.Support and participate in other corporate functions and cross-departmental financial activities.

5. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the manager

Key Skills
  • Preferably with experience using NetSuite accounting system; or proficient with other Accounting Systems; Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Words, and Powerpoint
  • Experience in audit preparation is an advantage
  • With strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • A good team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Advanced proficiency in English
