We are partnering with a fast-growing financial services and trading organization to hire an experienced Finance & Risk Leader. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the firm’s financial and risk framework, working across margin lending, structured finance, and trading activities. You’ll combine strategic oversight with hands-on management, directly influencing decision-making and safeguarding long-term financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance and risk functions, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management to drive growth, profitability, and liquidity.
• Manage margin lending portfolios: assess client creditworthiness, set credit limits, monitor exposures, and oversee margin policies and calls.
• Develop and enhance risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures across lending, structured finance, and trading.
• Partner with trading and business teams to provide insights on risk exposure, credit strategies, and financial performance.
• Support credit risk modelling, scenario analysis, and respond to client credit/margin queries.
• Drive process improvements and leverage automation to improve reporting, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in finance, credit risk, or risk leadership roles within trading, commodities, or financial services.
• Deep expertise in margin lending and structured finance, including credit risk assessment, margin calls, and exposure management.
• Strong technical knowledge in risk modelling, IFRS/GAAP financial reporting, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven leadership track record, able to influence senior stakeholders and manage high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments.
