Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Singapore for a Finance Associate. The role involves managing financial statements, overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GST regulations, and providing office administration support. Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, preparing documentation, coordinating administrative tasks, and offering general office support to enable smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system in a timely manner.
- Monitor daily bank balances and assist in the preparation of weekly cash flow updates and payment processing.
- Assist in the coordination of audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Support the preparation of documents for GST filing and corporate tax schedules.
- Assist in maintaining a proper filing system for all financial records and support ad‑hoc administrative or project tasks as required.
- Assist in preparing draft responses to queries from bankers, auditors, or counterparties.
- Comply with established financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure data integrity.
- Consistently stay abreast with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English; proficiency in additional languages (such as Indonesian, Russian, or Kazakh) is an advantage.
- 1–3 years of working experience in finance, accounting, or data entry roles.
- Prior experience working in an audit firm is preferred.
- Familiar with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, U8) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table).
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and responsibility in handling financial data.
- Basic understanding of bank transactions, TT payments, and reconciliation processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal departments and external parties (banks, vendors).
- Able to multi‑task & work independently with minimal supervision and meet daily task deadlines.
