A leading financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to oversee accounting and finance operations for its group of companies. The ideal candidate will manage the full-set accounts, ensure accurate financial reporting, and lead a capable team. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance/accounting and strong technical skills in accounting software. We are seeking a qualified and technically strong Finance Manager to lead the accounting and finance operations for our group of companies. Reporting to senior management, you will oversee the complete accounting function, manage a capable team, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across our entities.
Manage full-set accounts for group companies from end-to-end, including journal entries, reconciliations, month/year-end close, and preparation of financial statements
Oversee and develop the accounting team responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports for 4 group entities
Coordinate and manage annual statutory audits with external auditors and tax agents
Ensure timely and accurate quarterly GST filing and compliance with IRAS requirements
Monitor cash flow, analyse financial data, and provide insights to management
Implement and improve accounting systems, internal controls, and procedures
Ensure compliance with Singapore FRS and regulatory requirements
ACCA (admitted member), CA Singapore, or CPA certification would be advantageous although not required
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar capacity
Proven hands-on experience managing full-set accounts through to audited financial statements
Strong group consolidation and multi-entity accounting experience
Direct experience managing statutory audit processes from preparation to completion
Proficient in ABSS Premier (MYOB), XERO and advanced Microsoft Excel
Experience in a supervisory or managerial role
Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
Excellent technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Good communication and team leadership abilities
