Job summary

A multinational trading company in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance/accounting professional to oversee the APAC Trading Company's administration and financial operations. Responsibilities include monthly closing, reporting, cash management, and support for external audits. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree, be proficient in MS Excel, and possess 8+ years of relevant experience, especially in multinational environments. Knowledge of Korean and SAP is preferred.

1. Job description

This role supports the APAC Trading Company’s finance/accounting and overall administration.

The scope and ownership level will be adjusted depending on seniority.

Core responsibilities

• APAC Trading Company’s overall administration
• Monthly closing and reporting
• Support financial and tax accounting
• Journal entries and review general entries
• Support financial reporting and response to external audits
• Cash management and treasury
• Tax and Audit filing and supporting

Additional responsibilities (as applicable)

• Basic HR and Payroll
• Other general affairs and administrative support for entity operations
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (HQ/regions) to ensure timely closing, reporting, and operational support

2. Qualification requirements

Common requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, administration or related major
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines

For Manager level (if applicable)

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in finance and/accounting
• Experience leading or owning monthly closing and reporting processes is a plus

3. Preferred conditions

• Communication skills in Korean
• Experience with SAP
• Experience in a regional trading company / multinational environment is a plus
• Experience supporting tax/audit processes is a plus
