A global safety solutions provider is seeking a Field Service Technician in Singapore. The role involves delivering quality service and maintaining equipment at various client locations, including airports and courthouses. Candidates should have a diploma in technical training and 2-3 years of relevant experience, possessing strong communication and customer service skills. Job Description
The primary role of a Field Service Technician is to be a team-player in the Service team, delivering quality service to our client. This candidate must possess good relevant technical skillsets and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility as an individual contributor.
Diploma or equivalent technical training on Electrical / Electronic, IT, Hydraulics and Air-conditioning Systems. Candidates on Higher Nitec with relevant experience will be considered as well.
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
Individuals should possess good communications skills and have a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork. Must be responsive to all customer issues at all times. Class 3 driving license is strongly preferred.
While supervision is not considered a primary responsibility of this position, there may be instances where supervision of others on a project basis may be required.
Work environment will be at customer site. Service will typically be rendered at airports, jails, courthouses, cruise ships or other locations as required by the Line Manager.
